Astral Opal

Heavenly colors are the only way to describe this amazing gem. This particular opal specimen has a glow, similar to moonstone. A property called adularescence, where the layers in the stone act like a diffuser by softening the light and cause it to bounce inside the stone. Some people say it looks like magical light floating on the surface of the gem, like wispy clouds drifting across the sky.
