A Native American Navajo bracelet circa 1980's complete with vibrant and organic shaped Kingman turquoise stones. These stones were mined from the last American turquoise mine that is producing commercially, found in Kingman, Arizona. Fourteen turquoise cabochons — vivid, varied, and full of character. The bracelet itself is handmade by Thomas Francisco, a prolific Navajo artist who has created quite a following. The patterning on the sides was made from using stamps. The textured areas allow for the natural patina to become part of the design over time as the recessed areas darken. A substantial weight of 81grams makes this a piece to enjoy wearing.
