Cameo Ring

This cameo has a most interesting history. It is a Canadian Vintage ring from a jewellery store that opened in 1910 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The store was called Wheatley Bros. Jewellers and was touted as "one of the finest appointed jewellery stores in Canada". This cameo is not a typical shell but is fashioned from an agate stone. The relief is of a woman posed standing, generally signifying a goddess. A true piece of Canadian history. Perfect for the prairie goddess in your life!
