A hexagonal cocktail watch that is terribly eclectic. From the time when en era where luxury brands often blurred the lines between timekeeping and high jewellery, creating cocktail pieces for formal occasions where the watch served as a striking accessory.
To conceal the lugs (the protrusions that attach the band), a light V-shaped design gives the delicate watch the appearance of floating on the wrist. The watch is adorned with six natural diamonds.
Unusually, the dial of this watch is made of green cloisonné (glass enamel) . The cloisonné on this watch has a deep transparency, and faint sparkle. Green is a symbol of vitality, hope, joy, a bright future, and also wealth.
This watch uses the Bulova Caliber 6CD, the same Swiss hand-wound movement used in Bulova's top-of-the-line model, the Diadem.
