Inuit Story

Depicting the story of a seal hunt, this is a Northern collectors item! Each panel is a drawing made using the technique called scrimshaw, the art of carving a design into in this case walrus tusk. This story takes you through the the process of a hunting a seal, then bringing it bringing it back to camp. In between are panels with Northern jade and a natural gold nugget, with all panels each attached together using elastic cord, as well as a gold clasp. This is a real vintage treasure.
