The florentine finish is one of the loveliest and cannot be lost to history. This technique creates tiny cross-hatch engraved lines across gold jewelry. It is done by hand using a graver and takes skill to acheive a consistant look. The florentine texture is on the front surface of the cross while the remaining surfaces are highly polished. A beautiful larger sized pendant.
