Amber has a unique beauty unlike other stones. This one has an organic shape, designed to maximize it's beauty and in a custom handmade silver setting. This variety is referred to as cognac amber, due to it's rich deep golden-brown hue resembling the drink cognac. It has the characteristic sun-spangled inclusions and internal air bubbles that one loves about amber. Baltic amber is fossilized tree resin, 40–60 million years old, and primarily originates from the Eocene forests in Scandinavia and deposited around the Baltic Sea.
