Hand worked in silver and deeply dimensional, this oversized oak leaf brooch captures that specific moment just after the wind — the curl of the edges, the way light catches differently across each lobe, large enough to anchor a lapel or a scarf, substantial enough to wear alone.
The maker was Andrew Fussel, he was mostly self taught and established his business in 1932. He enjoyed teaching and demonstrating from his workshop in Toronto from the 1930's and into the mid 70's when he retired.
