Rare and exceptional, this large Edwardian guilloché enamel compact showcases remarkable antique craftsmanship. The striking triangular form is adorned with a beautifully detailed hand painted rose bouquet and set against a luminous dusty rose guilloché enamel background.
This is a functioning miniature compact — a powder applicator and its little leather finger pad included — made to be carried close. Some wear to the right side of the painted bouquet, consistent with age and a life well-lived. A genuinely rare find, and a wonderful thing to open.
